Arthur Benson
Arthur Benson was a British author and poet, born on April 24, 1862, in London. He is best known for his literary works, including essays and poetry, which often reflect his deep appreciation for nature and the English countryside. Benson was also a member of the Cambridge Apostles, a secret society at the University of Cambridge, where he studied.
In addition to his writing, Benson served as the Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge, from 1916 until his death in 1925. He was a prolific writer, contributing to various publications and producing several notable works, including the famous poem "Land of Hope and Glory."
