Argentine political system
The Argentine political system is a federal representative democratic republic. It consists of three branches: the executive, led by the President, the legislative, which includes a bicameral National Congress, and the judicial branch. The President is both the head of state and government, elected for a four-year term.
The National Congress is divided into two chambers: the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Deputies serve four-year terms, while Senators serve six-year terms. Elections are held every two years for half of the Chamber of Deputies and one-third of the Senate, ensuring regular democratic participation.
