Argali
The Argali is a large wild sheep native to the mountainous regions of Central Asia, particularly in countries like Mongolia, Tibet, and Kazakhstan. It is known for its impressive curved horns, which can grow up to 1.5 meters long in males. Argali typically inhabit rugged terrains, such as rocky slopes and alpine meadows, where they graze on grasses and shrubs.
Argali are social animals, often found in herds that can range from a few individuals to over a hundred. They are well-adapted to their environment, with thick woolly coats that help them survive harsh weather conditions. Due to habitat loss and hunting, the Argali population is currently considered vulnerable.
