Arco Della Pace
The Arco Della Pace, or Arch of Peace, is a neoclassical triumphal arch located in Milan, Italy. It was built between 1807 and 1838 to commemorate the peace treaties that ended the Napoleonic Wars. The arch stands at 25 meters tall and is adorned with intricate sculptures and reliefs that celebrate peace and victory.
The arch is situated at the end of Corso Sempione, near the Sempione Park and the Castello Sforzesco. It features a large central arch flanked by smaller arches, and its top is crowned with a statue of Winged Victory driving a chariot. The Arco Della Pace is a popular landmark and a symbol of unity in the city.
