Archibald Campbell, 10th Earl of Argyll
Archibald Campbell, 10th Earl of Argyll (1682-1761), was a Scottish nobleman and military leader. He was born into the prominent Campbell family and inherited the title of Earl of Argyll in 1703. Archibald played a significant role in the Jacobite uprisings, particularly during the 1715 rebellion, where he supported the British government against the Jacobite cause.
