Archduchess Sophie
Archduchess Sophie of Austria was born on March 1, 1805, and was a member of the Habsburg dynasty. She was the daughter of Archduke Franz Karl and Princess Sophie of Bavaria. Sophie played a significant role in the upbringing of her children, particularly her son, Franz Ferdinand, whose assassination in 1914 sparked World War I.
Sophie married Duke Franz Karl of Austria in 1824, and together they had several children. She was known for her strong influence within the Habsburg court and her dedication to her family. Archduchess Sophie passed away on May 28, 1872, leaving a lasting legacy in Austrian history.
