Archduchess Gisela of Austria
Archduchess Gisela of Austria was born on July 12, 1856, in Vienna, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth of Austria. Gisela was known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes, particularly in her later years.
In 1873, Gisela married Prince Leopold of Bavaria, and they had three children together. Throughout her life, she maintained a strong connection to her family and heritage, often participating in royal events and supporting various cultural initiatives in Austria. Gisela passed away on April 27, 1932.
