Archbishop Thomas Wenski
Archbishop Thomas Wenski is the leader of the Archdiocese of Miami, overseeing the spiritual and administrative needs of the Catholic community in South Florida. He was born on October 18, 1950, in Lynn, Massachusetts, and was ordained a priest in 1976. Wenski became the archbishop of Miami in 2010, succeeding Archbishop John C. Favalora.
In addition to his role in the archdiocese, Archbishop Wenski is known for his advocacy on social issues, including immigration and education. He has served on various committees within the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, contributing to discussions on important matters affecting the Church and society.
