Aragonês
Aragonês is a Romance language spoken primarily in the Aragon region of northeastern Spain. It is part of the Occitano-Romance language group and has historical roots dating back to the Middle Ages. Although it has seen a decline in speakers over the years, efforts are being made to revitalize and promote its use in local communities.
The language has several dialects, including Fabla and Cheso, which vary in pronunciation and vocabulary. Today, Aragonês is recognized as a cultural heritage language, and initiatives are in place to support its teaching in schools and its presence in media and literature.
