Arabic Writing
Arabic writing is a script used for the Arabic language and several other languages, such as Persian and Urdu. It is written from right to left and consists of 28 letters. Each letter can take different forms depending on its position in a word—initial, medial, final, or isolated.
The script is cursive, meaning that most letters connect to each other. Arabic writing also includes diacritics, which are marks that indicate short vowels and other pronunciation features. This writing system is not only used for everyday communication but also for religious texts, particularly in Islam, where the Quran is written in Arabic.
