Arabian Oryx
The Arabian Oryx is a medium-sized antelope native to the Arabian Peninsula. It has a distinctive white coat with long, straight horns that can reach up to 80 centimeters. This species is well-adapted to desert environments, able to survive without drinking water for long periods by obtaining moisture from the plants it eats.
Once extinct in the wild, the Arabian Oryx has been successfully reintroduced through conservation efforts. It primarily inhabits arid regions and grasslands, where it grazes on grasses and shrubs. The species is currently classified as vulnerable due to habitat loss and hunting pressures.
