Aquatic Architecture
Aquatic Architecture refers to the design and construction of structures in or around water bodies, such as rivers, lakes, and oceans. This field combines principles of architecture and engineering to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, including floating homes, underwater hotels, and marine research facilities.
The goal of Aquatic Architecture is to harmonize human activities with aquatic ecosystems while addressing challenges like rising sea levels and climate change. Notable examples include the Floating Seahorse, a luxury villa in the UAE, and the Ocean Spiral, a proposed underwater city concept.
