Apple Seeds
Apple seeds are the small, hard seeds found inside the fruit of the apple tree. Each apple typically contains five to ten seeds, which are located in the core of the fruit. These seeds are the means by which the apple tree reproduces, as they can grow into new trees when planted in the right conditions.
While apple seeds contain a compound called amygdalin, which can release cyanide when metabolized, the amount in a few seeds is generally too small to cause harm. However, it is advisable to avoid consuming large quantities of seeds to ensure safety.
