Anthony Wayne
Anthony Wayne was an American military officer and politician born on January 1, 1745, in Pennsylvania. He is best known for his leadership during the American Revolutionary War and his role in the early years of the United States. Wayne earned the nickname "Mad Anthony" for his bold and aggressive tactics in battle.
After the war, Wayne served as a member of the Continental Congress and was appointed as the commander of the Northwest Indian War forces. He achieved a significant victory at the Battle of Fallen Timbers in 1794, which helped secure American control over the Northwest Territory. Wayne passed away on December 15, 1796.
