Annobón
Annobón is a small island located in the Gulf of Guinea, part of Equatorial Guinea. It is one of the country's most remote islands, situated about 350 kilometers southwest of the mainland. Annobón covers an area of approximately 17 square kilometers and is characterized by its volcanic landscape, lush vegetation, and beautiful beaches.
The island has a population of around 5,000 people, primarily of Fang and Bubi descent. The main language spoken is Annobonese, a Portuguese-based creole. The economy of Annobón relies mainly on fishing and agriculture, with the island's residents cultivating crops like cassava and bananas.
