Animal Deterrents
Animal deterrents are tools or methods used to keep unwanted animals away from specific areas, such as gardens or homes. These can include physical barriers like fences, as well as chemical repellents that emit scents or tastes unpleasant to certain animals. Commonly targeted animals include rabbits, deer, and squirrels.
In addition to physical and chemical options, some deterrents use sound or motion to scare animals off. For example, motion-activated sprinklers can startle animals with sudden bursts of water, while ultrasonic devices emit high-frequency sounds that are bothersome to pests but inaudible to humans.
