Android Marshmallow
Android Marshmallow is the sixth major version of the Android operating system, released by Google in October 2015. It introduced several new features aimed at improving user experience, including a more refined app permissions system that allows users to grant permissions on a case-by-case basis.
Another significant addition was Google Now on Tap, which provided contextual information based on what was displayed on the screen. Android Marshmallow also enhanced battery life with a feature called Doze, which puts apps into a sleep mode when the device is not in use, helping to conserve power.
