Andriyan Nikolayev
Andriyan Nikolayev was a Soviet cosmonaut born on December 5, 1929, in the city of Chkalovsk, Russia. He became notable for his participation in the Vostok 3 mission in 1962, where he orbited the Earth for 14 days. Nikolayev was the first person to conduct a space flight while married, as his wife, Valentina Tereshkova, was also a cosmonaut.
Throughout his career, Nikolayev completed two spaceflights and contributed significantly to the Soviet space program. He was awarded several honors, including the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. After retiring from space missions, he worked in various roles within the aerospace industry until his passing on July 3, 2004.
