Andorran Coat of Arms
The Andorran Coat of Arms features a shield divided into four quarters. The first and fourth quarters display the Arms of the Counts of Foix, while the second and third quarters represent the Arms of the Bishop of Urgell. This design symbolizes the historical ties between Andorra and these two entities, which have governed the region.
At the center of the coat of arms, there is a scroll with the motto "Virtus Unita Fortior," meaning "United Virtue is Stronger." The coat of arms is an important national symbol, reflecting Andorra's unique political history and its status as a principality.
