Andic Language
The Andic language is a group of languages spoken primarily in the mountainous regions of the Caucasus. It belongs to the Nakh-Daghestanian language family, which includes several other languages spoken in the area. The most notable Andic languages are Avar, Tsez, and Hunzib. These languages are characterized by their complex grammatical structures and rich phonetic systems.
Andic languages are primarily used by the Andi people, who reside in the Republic of Dagestan in Russia. The languages are not widely spoken outside their native regions, and they face challenges such as declining numbers of speakers and limited resources for language preservation. Efforts are being made to document and revitalize these languages to ensure their survival.
