An-225 Mriya
The An-225 Mriya is a large cargo aircraft designed by the Ukrainian company Antonov. It was built in the 1980s to transport the Buran space shuttle and other heavy cargo. With a maximum takeoff weight of 640 tons, it is the heaviest aircraft ever constructed.
The An-225 features six engines and a distinctive nose that can be raised to facilitate loading. It has a wingspan of 88.4 meters, making it one of the largest wingspans of any aircraft. The plane has been used for various humanitarian missions and transporting oversized cargo worldwide.
