Amoralism
Amoralism is a philosophical stance that suggests moral principles are not inherently necessary or applicable to human behavior. It posits that actions can be evaluated without reference to moral standards, meaning that individuals may act based on personal desires or societal norms rather than ethical considerations.
This perspective contrasts with moral frameworks like utilitarianism or deontology, which emphasize the importance of moral rules in guiding behavior. Amoralists may argue that morality is a human construct, and thus, individuals are free to pursue their interests without the constraints of moral obligations.
