Amon
Amon is a deity from ancient Egyptian mythology, often associated with the sun and air. He was worshipped primarily in the city of Thebes, where he became one of the most important gods in the Egyptian pantheon. Amon is frequently depicted as a man with a ram's head or as a ram, symbolizing strength and fertility.
Over time, Amon was merged with the sun god Ra to form Amon-Ra, representing the combined powers of creation and kingship. His worship spread throughout Egypt, and he was considered the king of the gods, playing a significant role in the religious and political life of ancient Egyptians.
