Amoghavarsha
Amoghavarsha was a prominent king of the Rashtrakuta dynasty, ruling from 814 to 878 CE in ancient India. He is known for his contributions to literature, culture, and architecture, as well as for promoting the Kannada language. His reign marked a period of prosperity and stability in the Deccan region.
Under Amoghavarsha's leadership, the Rashtrakutas expanded their empire and engaged in significant trade and cultural exchanges. He was also a patron of the arts, and his court attracted many scholars and poets. His legacy includes the famous rock-cut temples at Ellora and the flourishing of Kannada literature.
