Ammon
Ammon, also known as Amun, was an ancient Egyptian deity associated with the sun and air. He was often depicted as a man with a ram's head or as a ram itself. Ammon became one of the most important gods in ancient Egypt, especially during the New Kingdom, when he was worshipped as the king of the gods and a symbol of creation.
The city of Thebes was the center of worship for Ammon, where the grand Karnak Temple was built in his honor. His influence extended beyond Egypt, as he was identified with the Greek god Zeus and the Roman god Jupiter. Ammon's legacy continues to be studied in the context of ancient Egyptian religion and mythology.
