Aminah bint Wahb was the mother of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. She belonged to the Banu Hashim clan of the Quraysh tribe in Mecca. Aminah was known for her noble lineage and was married to Abdullah, who passed away before Muhammad was born. Aminah raised Muhammad after his birth in 570 CE. She is remembered for her love and care for him during his early years. Tragically, she died when Muhammad was just six years old, leaving him an orphan. Her influence and nurturing are significant in the early life of the prophet.
