Ame no Uzume
Ame no Uzume is a goddess in Japanese mythology, known as the goddess of dawn, mirth, and revelry. She is celebrated for her role in the Shinto creation myth, particularly for her efforts to coax the sun goddess Amaterasu out of hiding. When Amaterasu withdrew into a cave, plunging the world into darkness, Ame no Uzume performed a lively dance to attract her attention.
Her dance was so entertaining that it drew the other gods to join in, creating a joyful atmosphere. This celebration ultimately led to Amaterasu peeking out of the cave, restoring light to the world. Ame no Uzume symbolizes the power of joy and laughter in overcoming despair.
