Allopathic Physicians
Allopathic physicians, commonly known as MDs (Doctor of Medicine), are medical doctors who practice conventional medicine. They diagnose and treat illnesses using a variety of methods, including medications, surgery, and other interventions. Their training typically involves completing a bachelor's degree, followed by medical school and residency programs.
These physicians focus on evidence-based practices and often rely on scientific research to guide their treatment decisions. Allopathic medicine contrasts with osteopathic medicine, which emphasizes a holistic approach and includes additional training in the musculoskeletal system. Both types of physicians are licensed to practice medicine and can prescribe medications.
