Ali Baba's brother, Cassim, is a character from the famous tale "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" in the collection of stories known as One Thousand and One Nights. Unlike Ali Baba, who is humble and resourceful, Cassim is wealthy but greedy. He is envious of Ali Baba's discovery of the treasure hidden in the cave.
