Algeria Football Federation
The Algeria Football Federation, known as FAF, is the governing body for football in Algeria. Established in 1962, it oversees all aspects of the sport, including the national teams, leagues, and development programs. The federation is responsible for organizing domestic competitions and representing Algeria in international events.
The FAF is affiliated with both the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA, the global governing body for football. It plays a crucial role in promoting football at all levels, from grassroots initiatives to the senior national team, which has achieved significant success, including winning the Africa Cup of Nations.
