Alexis Kivi
Alexis Kivi was a Finnish author born on April 10, 1834, in the village of Nurmijärvi. He is best known for his novel Seven Brothers, which is considered a classic of Finnish literature. Kivi's works often explore themes of nature, identity, and the struggles of ordinary people.
Despite his significant contributions to literature, Kivi faced many challenges during his life, including financial difficulties and mental health issues. He died on December 31, 1872, at the age of 38.
