Alexander Supertramp
Alexander Supertramp is the alias of Christopher McCandless, an American hiker and adventurer who gained fame for his journey into the Alaskan wilderness. Born in 1968, he graduated from Emory University and chose to abandon his possessions and savings to explore the natural world. His story is documented in the book "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer.
In 1992, McCandless ventured into the Alaskan backcountry, where he lived in an abandoned bus. He sought a life of simplicity and self-discovery but ultimately faced challenges that led to his death from starvation. His journey has inspired many to reflect on themes of freedom, adventure, and the relationship between humans and nature.
