Alexander Skvortsov
Alexander Skvortsov is a Russian cosmonaut born on March 6, 1973, in Tula, Russia. He graduated from the Kachinsk Air Force Pilot School in 1995 and later became a test pilot. Skvortsov was selected as a cosmonaut in 2006 and has participated in multiple space missions.
He flew to the International Space Station (ISS) on Expedition 23 in 2010 and served as the commander of Expedition 29 in 2011. Throughout his career, Skvortsov has contributed to various scientific experiments and has spent a total of over 500 days in space.
