Alexander Of Yugoslavia
Alexander of Yugoslavia was the king of Yugoslavia from 1921 until his assassination in 1934. Born on December 6, 1888, he was the son of King Peter I of Yugoslavia. Alexander aimed to unify the diverse ethnic groups within his kingdom and promote a sense of national identity.
His reign was marked by political instability and rising tensions among different nationalities. In 1929, he established a royal dictatorship to strengthen his power and suppress opposition. Alexander was assassinated in Marseille, France, by a Macedonian nationalist, which led to further turmoil in Yugoslavia.
