Alcid
Alcid is a genus of birds that belongs to the family Alcidae, commonly known as auks. These birds are primarily found in the northern hemisphere, particularly in cold coastal regions. Alcid species are known for their distinctive appearance, which includes a stout body, short wings, and a strong bill.
