Alberto Granado
Alberto Granado was an Argentine biochemist and a close friend of Ernesto "Che" Guevara. Born on August 8, 1922, in La Plata, Argentina, he studied medicine and later specialized in biochemistry. Granado is best known for his journey across South America with Guevara in 1952, which inspired Guevara's later revolutionary activities.
Granado's experiences during the trip highlighted social injustices and poverty in Latin America. He later worked in various scientific and educational roles, contributing to public health and research. Granado passed away on March 5, 2021, leaving a legacy intertwined with Guevara's revolutionary ideals.
