Alberto Ascari
Alberto Ascari was an Italian racing driver, born on July 13, 1918, in Milan. He is best known for his success in Formula One during the early 1950s, where he drove for the Ferrari team. Ascari won two consecutive World Championships in 1952 and 1953, making him one of the sport's early legends.
Ascari was the son of Antonio Ascari, a famous driver who died in a racing accident. Tragically, Alberto also lost his life in a crash during a test drive on May 26, 1955. His contributions to motorsport and his remarkable achievements continue to be celebrated today.
