Albanian Communist Party
The Albanian Communist Party was founded in 1941 as a political organization that aimed to establish a communist state in Albania. It played a significant role in the country's resistance against fascist occupation during World War II and later took power in 1944. The party was heavily influenced by the ideology of Marxism-Leninism and sought to implement socialist policies in the nation.
Under the leadership of Enver Hoxha, the party maintained strict control over the government and society, promoting a one-party system. The Albanian Communist Party remained in power until the early 1990s, when political and economic changes led to its dissolution and the transition to a multi-party system in Albania.
