Alassane Ouattara
Alassane Ouattara is a prominent Ivorian politician who has served as the President of Ivory Coast since 2011. Born on January 1, 1942, in Dimbokro, he studied economics in the United States and worked for the International Monetary Fund before entering politics. Ouattara was previously the Prime Minister of Ivory Coast from 1990 to 1993.
He is a member of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) party and has played a significant role in the country's post-civil war recovery. His presidency has focused on economic growth, infrastructure development, and national reconciliation following years of political turmoil.
