Alan García
Alan García was a prominent Peruvian politician who served as the President of Peru twice, first from 1985 to 1990 and then from 2006 to 2011. He was a member of the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance party and was known for his efforts to implement economic reforms and address social issues during his terms in office.
García's presidency was marked by significant challenges, including hyperinflation and political unrest. He faced criticism for his handling of the economy and human rights issues. After his second term, he continued to be involved in politics until his death in 2019, which was ruled a suicide amid corruption allegations.
