Akihiko Hoshide
Akihiko Hoshide is a Japanese astronaut and engineer known for his contributions to space exploration. Born on November 27, 1968, he joined the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) in 1992. Hoshide has participated in multiple missions to the International Space Station (ISS), where he conducted various scientific experiments and technology demonstrations.
Hoshide first flew to the ISS in 2008 as part of the STS-124 mission aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery. He has since completed several spacewalks and played a key role in the assembly and maintenance of the ISS. His work has significantly advanced our understanding of living and working in space.
