Aichi D3A
The Aichi D3A was a Japanese dive bomber used during World War II. It was designed by the Aichi Aircraft Company and first flew in 1938. The aircraft was known for its distinctive gull wings and was primarily used by the Imperial Japanese Navy for attacking enemy ships and ground targets.
Equipped with a single engine, the D3A could carry a significant bomb load, making it effective in its role. It gained notoriety during the attack on Pearl Harbor and was involved in several key battles in the Pacific Theater, including the Battle of Midway.
