Ahmedi
The term "Ahmedi" refers to followers of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a religious movement within Islam founded in the late 19th century by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in India. Ahmad claimed to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, which has led to significant theological differences with mainstream Muslims.
Ahmadis emphasize peace, tolerance, and community service, and they believe in the importance of education and social justice. Despite their peaceful teachings, they often face persecution in various countries due to their beliefs, particularly in regions where Islamic orthodoxy is strictly upheld.
