Ahmadi
The term "Ahmadi" refers to members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, a religious movement within Islam founded in the late 19th century by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in British India. Ahmad claimed to be the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, fulfilling Islamic prophecies. The community emphasizes peace, tolerance, and the importance of education.
Ahmadis follow the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad, but they differ from mainstream Muslims in their beliefs about prophethood. Due to their beliefs, Ahmadis face persecution in some countries, particularly in Pakistan, where they are legally declared non-Muslims.
