Ahaziah
Ahaziah was a king of Israel, known for his short reign around 853-852 BCE. He was the son of Ahab, a prominent king, and Jezebel, who were known for their promotion of Baal worship. Ahaziah continued in the same religious practices as his parents, which led to conflicts with the prophet Elijah.
During his reign, Ahaziah sought guidance from Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, after suffering an injury. This act was seen as a rejection of the God of Israel. His reign ended when he fell from a window and was later killed in battle, leading to the rise of his brother, Jehoram.
