Aglauros
Aglauros is a figure from ancient Greek mythology, known as one of the daughters of Cecrops, the first king of Athens. She is often associated with the story of Athena and Erichthonius, a legendary hero. Aglauros, along with her sisters, was tasked with guarding a box containing Erichthonius, which they were forbidden to open.
In some versions of the myth, Aglauros is transformed into stone or driven mad due to her disobedience. Her story highlights themes of loyalty, curiosity, and the consequences of defying the gods, particularly Athena, who played a significant role in the lives of Aglauros and her family.
