African club competitions
African club competitions are organized tournaments for football clubs across the continent, primarily overseen by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The two main competitions are the CAF Champions League, which features the top clubs from various African leagues, and the CAF Confederation Cup, which is similar but includes clubs that did not qualify for the Champions League.
These competitions provide clubs with the opportunity to compete at a higher level and gain international recognition. They also serve as a platform for showcasing talent and promoting football development in Africa, contributing to the growth of the sport on the continent.
