CAF Confederation Cup
The CAF Confederation Cup is an annual club football competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It serves as Africa's secondary club tournament, featuring teams that qualify from various domestic leagues and cup competitions across the continent. The tournament was established in 2004 to provide a platform for clubs that do not qualify for the more prestigious CAF Champions League.
Teams compete in a knockout format, starting with a preliminary round and progressing through to the final. The winner of the CAF Confederation Cup earns a spot in the following season's CAF Super Cup, where they face the champion of the CAF Champions League.
