African Parks
African Parks is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and management of national parks across Africa. Founded in 2000, it partners with governments and local communities to restore and protect wildlife habitats, ensuring sustainable ecosystems. The organization currently manages over 18 parks in 11 African countries.
The mission of African Parks is to create self-sustaining protected areas that benefit both wildlife and local communities. By focusing on effective management, community engagement, and sustainable tourism, they aim to enhance biodiversity and improve the livelihoods of people living near these parks.
