African Leopard
The African Leopard is a large wild cat native to sub-Saharan Africa. Known for its distinctive spotted coat, it is a solitary and adaptable predator that thrives in various habitats, including savannas, forests, and mountains. These leopards are skilled climbers and often store their prey in trees to protect it from scavengers.
Typically weighing between 66 to 176 pounds, the African Leopard has a powerful build and excellent night vision. They primarily hunt at night, preying on animals such as deer, antelope, and smaller mammals. Their ability to camouflage allows them to stalk and ambush their prey effectively.
